Hello. I have three Centrises: one that I'm the original owner of, and two
more that were given to me. I want to back up all of the contents of all
three of them, so I can get them ready for a journalism class to use to
learn PageMaker.

What would be the simplest and LEAST expensive way to put all of their data
onto one external HD? I would need recommendations for external HDs
appriopriate for the Centrises, and what kind of connectors I'd need. My
Centris had a 230 mg HD, but there was also a lot of stuff on floppies that
I'd like to "reunite" onto one HD. One of the other Centrises has a 300 mg
HD, and I'd like to back that up intact.

I had bought a Jaz drive on ebay two-three years ago. At the time, I didn't
realize that SCSI was a broad term. I purchased two different SCSI adaptors
that were the wrong ones. Also I was unable to download the proper drivers
for the Jaz drive. Actually, that could still be the best plan for me if I
knew what I was doing.

Thanks,
Claire
