I inherited a Q840AV (woo! my C650 was so envious when these came out) but am having
problems with hard drives. I can boot from CD just fine when there are no drives
connected, but as soon as I add one it doesn't boot past the gray screen. Sometimes
the mouse will move, but more likely it is frozen as well. My guess is that it's a
SCSI chain issue. (I really need to look up the specs on the drives to see what
they're set at so I can determine the bus geometry.) Any other ideas? I want to get
this "speed demon of yesteryear" up and running soon.

Thanks,
Tim
