If I might make a suggestion: While you have your Quadra up and running, you might want to run Basilisk's ROM utility and backup the resulting emulated ROM file. This will come in handy if the machine dies and/or you just want to emulate an '040 on another machine-like when I only had a WinPC at work. Surprising how well a PC can emulate an '040 Mac.
