i got a question for the guru-like folx of the list.
would a ppc upgrade card (apple card) from a centris 6xx (not sure
which one) fit into a quarda 800? it's a card that looks like it
would fit parallel to the mobo; a 90� thing makes it do that, and
otherwise it would go in perpendicular to the mobo if it weren't for
that.
also, i saw a VRAM card that used to go into an 8100 (a PDS VRAM
card); would that fit into the same q800 (besides the fact that i
couldn't put it in the quad if it has the PDS PPC upgrade card in
it). both went for 60$ CAD. i know it's a good deal for the upgrade
card, and it looks a little worn, but a little cleaning (how?) would
help the aesthetics a lot; i suspect it works, and the place where it
is, test the stuff they sell.
one more: where can i get VRAM sticks (cdn. source preferred) *cheap*
for the same quad?
