yeah, it did (?). a rather large (compared to the upgrade card) metal
housing of some sort, with a small circuit board contained in it,
with a connector of some sort to the upgrade card itself. the
connector was black plastic, with thick wires in between the two
circuit boards. and i think the conncetor and the housing were making
it so that the upgrade card would be parallel to the mobo.

well, i don't actually have it (yet; hopefully :-), but it would seem
to me (from memory of the look of the card) that i would have to do
like you said: remove the angle thing. unless it works in a q800 just
like that?

ok thanx. so i couldn't install the PDS video card, but the 601
upgrade i could. thanx again the pickle.
