No it has no ram on the mother board, you have to add ram via the 4 slots. 
Yes I would do a total max out on it, ram is cheap now and well worht the 
machine to have it at it's max. You will only be able to have hd's with no 
larger then a 2 gig partition, but if you can find the dbl drive holders you 
can add a few drives to it. Sixe wise you can put in any size you want but 
the partition is limtied to 2 gig. Hardware limits. If I am wrong then 
someone on the list will correct this info.
