Iomega 250 zip reads 100 Mb old zips. i tried it and works.
Another question that could be interesting enough for SCSI Zip owners: a
friend of mine gave me an old scsi 100 zip with bad reading/ writing heads.
PC zips uses the same heads and are not a hard job to be changed, i have now
a good scsi zip conected to my mac with canibalized parts from a PC 100 zip.
Well, this tip could be useful if you really need a scsi zip and want to pay
the price from a PC zip still working, as the parts that fail the most are
the heads, the power supply is the same and the pc cable can be used in the
mac with a cheap adapter. The other electronics, of course, are
incompatible.
