Hi, everybody. I just wanted to say hello to
everyone and say thanks for a great newsgroup. I had
to post for the first time to tell you about a
wonderful little photo/paint image editor I recently
came across - apologies to those who already know
about it or have Photoshop. Finding anything useful
in this department for a beloved Quadra 660av isn't
easy. I previously used BME, which was cute but a bit
wobbly). Now I'm a full convert to 'Futurepaint 2.0'
(Freeware) by Stazsoftware.com. If you need to work
on a jpeg or create a gif this is a marvel. Great
fun. A tiny 1.2Mb application that asks for a
whopping 20Mb RAM but fortunately is happy with half
that. If, like me, you need to work with images this
is fab. Many thanks to Stazsoftware. Hope this is of
some use to other Mac 68K users. Just remember if
you're short of RAM to adjust Preferred Size in the
'Get Info' box.
