Forgot to also add in. Get hold of an application that removes all PPC code from your HD. When you do it, do it in small doses. Which brings me to my next question. A program written by Allesandro Leni Montalcini does this but for the life of me I cannot remember what it is called to look for on Version Tracker etc. To give you an idea of how effective it can be to remove the PPC code from the 040 operating system, I had a LC575 with 36MB and full 040 which ran for 38 months without crashing or freezing until it died in January this year, HD, CD, FDD and speakers.
