I think what Michael meant was that you can't have two
L2 caches on a 68040 - the CPU simply can't use both.
While you might physically fit one in the PDS slot, you
certainly can't *use* it.
Sorta, yeah. It would appear that the only L2 cache solutions for the Q700
involve using the CPU socket. That means only one solution at a time.
