No, you missed a very confused and misinformed Canadian (fortunately, in the minority of you Great White North folks that I've dealt with) ranting on and on about nothing. >BellSouth (live tech help) likes to send Mac users to a "new site" that >presumably has all sorts of juicy FAQs. Links to shareware They ought to - they're Apple's OEM partner :) As I stated before, I understand why very few ISPs support anything older than 8.1 - it's a simple matter of not wanting to pay for the training and techs. But I have yet to see any pay ISP that actually prevents Mac users from connecting with *any* OS. Of course, none of the free ISPs even had a PPC-based Mac client, let alone 68K, last time I checked. So they're out, period. Not that they're particularly worth using much any more... Anyone *else* got any examples of apps that won't run on 7.x that *will* run on 8.1?
