No, you missed a very confused and misinformed Canadian (fortunately, in
the minority of you Great White North folks that I've dealt with) ranting
on and on about nothing.

They ought to - they're Apple's OEM partner :)

As I stated before, I understand why very few ISPs support anything older
than 8.1 - it's a simple matter of not wanting to pay for the training and
techs.  But I have yet to see any pay ISP that actually prevents Mac users
from connecting with *any* OS.

Of course, none of the free ISPs even had a PPC-based Mac client, let alone
68K, last time I checked.  So they're out, period.  Not that they're
particularly worth using much any more...

Anyone *else* got any examples of apps that won't run on 7.x that *will*
run on 8.1?  Our buddy James seems to have given up.
