Howdy, Anyone got any solutions for programs that won't give up, let go, of the serial port long after I've quit them? I've tried rebooting, turning off extensions...no luck. In the past our Global Village modem was terrible for this. Now it seems to be our Epson printer or Kodak digi-cam software.... I have such a long history of struggles with the #@%#&# serial port on our Mac's. Seems like a BIG weakness with the Mac. Works fine if using only one device, but switching between devices...Ugggh. Thanks for any suggestions in advance. Ted Cantle
