Hi Another piece of today's booty was a DataTrain 15" Monitor (Can. made). So as to stay on topic, I hooked it up to the Quad 605 :-)
It came with the handy dandy dongle adaptor and it flashed up but in narrow letterbox movie-type format. I changed the resolution to 640 x 480 and the screen filled up. . . . BUT. . . the picture, though bright enough is a sort of paled, milky white, ghostly overall?? I switched to uncorrected gamma and it got a little better; I gave it a touch more Blue Drive and Red but because there is more than just one little pot each for those I held back tweaking them any more than the tiny bit I did. Any thoughts? Too new for the Quad? Video hardware - about which I know next to nothing? Are video cards called "firmware"? Thanks, TT -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
