Hmmmm no Apple support for older machines is a sad truth which I learned in the past month... Call Apple and they will ask for your machine's serial number. If the machine (NOT the OS) is not supported you get short shrift. However it is also true that most Canadian isp's cannot or will not support LEM's - the main exception being Community Nets. At $30 a year, they are well worth your support - and having that textonly/LEM access when you have lost other access (locked yourself out of your 8.1 Sprint account like a certain bozette) can save you much grief. We plan to back up our files; but do we have a backup if our server goes down?
