I want to install Sys 7.1 on my 840av for absolute flat out speed test purposes. I'm trying to beat the 10.8 secs boot into Sys 6 on my IIci by installing 7.1 on my 10,000 rpm UW-SCSI drive in my 840av and booting from that. I have run into a snag, however, that the 840av requires System Enabler 088 so the install disk won't boot the machine to do the install as the System Enabler won't fit on the disk. I have 8.1 on it on a different drive, can I install it from there? -- --
