The link is not public info, I searched this morning and it didn't come up
in NEC/Mitsubishi site.

This is even funnier. The windows software shows that it is connected to the
monitor via COM1. But there are no PC serial port connectors (DB9) in the
back for the monitor!!

Does it mean that I need  a cable (DB9 male to DIN-8P male) to control the
monitor via software in Windows??  Do such cables exist??
