You mean a standard port or the adapter comes packaged standard with the computer? Which are the more reputable manufacturers? What pitfalls There are essentially two: Apple and Daystar The designs were nearly identical; Daystar used a slightly different clock multiplier setup and a mirrored board layout relative to the Apple upgrades. In addition, the Apple upgrades were only available in 66MHz form, whereas the Daystars can be had (very expensively) in 100MHz form. Note: you'll pay more for a PPC upgrade for a 950 than you will for something like a complete Power Mac 7500. Whether or not it's worth it is your call, but in most cases, it's not. the pickle FAQ <http://macfaq.org/index.shtml> Software Archive <ftp://download:[EMAIL PROTECTED]//Users/thepickl/Sites/Archive/> <http://www.members.jmug.org/%7Ethepickl/archive/> _________________________________________________________________ -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
