You don't use DHCP with PPP, it doesn't work that way.  DHCP is for 
use with an Ethernet connection.  PPP is for a dial up connection.

You should select:

Connect via:  PPP

Configure:  Using PPP Server

Name server addr:  enter the DNS values your ISP supplies.
