This problem seems to have been corrected in v. 1.6 of NetBSD.  I'm 
running a pre-alpha version of this on my firewall/router IIci and 
I've only been losing 10-60 seconds per 24 hours.  Under 1.5.2 this 
could get up to 400 seconds!
