Dear Quadraphiles: I am running a Q950 on my church/school's Windows network just fine (I don't need to share files withe Windoze boxes) under OS 7.6.1. My 950 is primarily used as a server, but I do some light browsing and e-mail on it.
The school is changing over to Novell networking (version 6) on Thursday-Friday. The guy setting it up knows _nothing_ about Macs, but he thinks I need to use some sort of Novell client software in order to access the network. I think that all I probably need is the right router and IP addresses and it will work just like it is now. All I need is internet access and to be able to share files, etc, between my Macs (one in my room, 2 in my office). What do I and he need to know to make this work? Do any of you have experience running a Mac on a Novell network? Thanks, Rob Johansen -- A computer without Windows is like a dog without bricks tied to its head. Fr.
