Hi all,

I'd like to share my recent finding. Some time ago I've got a
Quadra-950, and added four more HDDs to it. As it isn't AWS-95, the
five-drive shelf was naturally absent, so I've installed HDD mounting
racks from broken PCs (some drilling required) - two above the power
source, and two below.

For feeding the power to the drives, I've made necessary cables from
broken PC ATX power supply: the middle part of ATX connector exacly
matches the Mac's power connector - all what you need is, to cut off
unnecessary parts on both sides, keeping the middle 4-wire part (with
fixing latch).

Also, the cooling fans from the p.supply were installed, as most of HDDs
I have are old Seagates, and they're getting really hot.

Cheers,
Artur
