I'm quite new to working with older macs, and macs in general, so I apologise if this is not relevant.
I recently rescued a Quadra 800 from disposal. I took the took the thing apart to clean away 10 years of grease, black dust and dirt. Inside I discovered a video card that I can't identify from any of the info I could find on the web. It has a DB15 port, an S-Video port and another port that I don't recognise (circular, 8 pin). A sticker on the underside of the board reads: BMAC-RBGX-241X *RAINBOW GX24* SN.:1133583149 The card fits into a black (PDS?) slot. I've tested it and it can cope with millions of colours, but I don't know what res it goes up to as the only monitor I can test it with at the moment is an AppleColour 13'' (640x480). Just wondered if any of you knew anything about it, or where I could find out. Thanks. -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
