The Quadra 630 can also use a Comm Slot Ethernet card, or Comm Slot modem and this would leave your PDS slot free for something else. These cards show up pretty frequently on the LEM swap list, if you're not already subscribed I'd suggest it as a great place for deals on Mac stuff. Make sure you get a Comm Slot I card, not Com Slot II which won't fit. I have a broadband connection shared between my Quadra 630 and several other computers using a router. It's pretty easy.
