Like I said, P tags never *have* to be closed; the spec says it's optional, but
the half-frown in iCab is one of the most annoying things because that's where
most of the bugs with its validator are.  For instance, HTML 4 Transitional
allows <FONT> and <CENTER> tags.  iCab doesn't think so for some reason.

Even the lite version of BBEdit - what I'm using now that I'm on OS X full-time
- is a far cry better than just about anything else out there.

Boy, isn't that the truth.  Clean, compliant code also tends to crash older
browsers a LOT LESS than some of the narsty crud I've seen on big-time
commercial sites.
