Yes, Deoxit, Crag, products by Rawn, or as I said Chemtronics products, would be
best, but most people don't have access to these and tend to use what's handy at
the time.  That's why the long post of unrequested advice and suggestions.  I
would rather have a fellow lister get Coke or vinegar in his eyes than something
else not intended for the job that would do more severe damage when that cable
flipped out of the solution.
