Not an obvious step, given it's not a Color Classic ;). Needless to say YES that is a 
good place to go to look for info on 5xx machines as they are the same form factor.

I have a single bank 2K Refresh 64MB in 2 of my 475s. Work fine.

Both of which are slow via the comm-slot, ethernet though is marginally better than 
via the LCPDS slot, but still not as fast as built-in or NuBus.

I don't know if it is limited to the AV Quadras or not. I only ever tried it on an 
840av so I can't tell you for sure, the only other machine I know that it works on is 
the 660av because that was the machine in the original Apple advert. I do know for a 
fact it's a pig to get working, I couldn't install 1.6(may be 5-not sure).3 using the 
installer, I had to pull out all the files using TomeViewer. Either way - voice 
recognition is a bit of a running joke in computing circles, what little I've tried in 
OS X Jaguar doesn't seem mush better than the 840av version!
