Unless there's a particular reason *not* to do so, I'd use Apple's HD SC Setup
to format/partition all the hard disks, and Apple's CD drivers for the two
CD-ROMs.  If you need third-party support, there are ResEdit hacks for HD SC
Setup (info in the FAQ) and the Mac Driver Museum has a universal CD-ROM driver.
