Is it a seperate video card or the *one* video card all the 7100/8100s must 
have?
ON an actual 7100A/V, the "main" video card (about in the center of the 
board) is in a PDS (processor direct slot) and will not work in a Quadra 
(which has a different PDS.)

FWIW, even though Apple said the 8100's board is the "upgrade" to PPC for 
an 800/840, it also involves replacing the back panel of the case....
