This is a note following Dan's comment about browsers.

No need to add to a reply about "IE" vs "others", as the following is a true
problem that has happened to me. There is a site "www.osho.org" which has
the ability to do a zen tarot reading online. I could not get it to work
because of errors on the page, I was using Netscape as a browser. When I
came back in with IE, everything worked fine. This is an example of what I
call poor web design. This "proprietary" design of code that is to be viewed
by the public should be tested on all popular browsers, not just one. I
consider Netscape or Mozilla, a much better browser and faster than IE, and
I am able to set it up other than the way MS think you should be using a
browser.

I wonder if MS and AOL are linked together somehow by promoting how they are
the only ones in existence. Why does the TV industry promote the infamous
AOL keyword so much?

I have our programmers design web pages that are generic and fast for our
customers. A web page that can not be viewed in the quickest amount of time
on what ever browser the online customer is using is a possible lost sale to
our client.

The "point-and-click" mentality of most IT design engineers scares me. A
code generator is only as good as the programmer who reviews and test its
code afterwards.
