I can't get my hard drives to be recognized by my 630. Never had this problem before now. Tried a 250 MB Conner IDE and a 4 GB WD IDE. The 250 MB was the original. I have move the jumpers all around-master, slave, select and no jumper at all.
I have tried using OS 8.1 and 7.6 CD ROMs. The 630 boots Okay from them. I was able to get the 4 GB to mount but after installing a fresh OS on the drive--it would not boot from the HD-only a flashing ? Disk until I put in a CD. And I chose the HD using Startup Disk.
