The VTL daemon now scans for NVMe devices but /dev/nvme-fabrics isn't a disk device. This is unrelated to the problem you are facing. What is the device path of the 20 TB disk ? Is it a SCSI device ? If its a SCSI device what is the output of lsscsi -g If the disk has any partitions, mounted file systems etc it will be ignored.
