There is no legal entity for the Quagga project. Individuals and others cover costs as they see fit.
I sought qualified, specific legal advice on quagga-babeld a while ago as it seemed yet another round of argument imminent. I've mentioned the preliminary advice I got on list here a few times. I've now got that advice in written up form. I am fully prepared to pay for it. Anyone who wants to help *me* cover those costs would have my appreciation. Get in touch via private.
I'm hoping I can make the advice available to other maintainers in due course, though first it needs paying for.
