I personally prefer not waiting a long time for feedback, the faster the better.

Having a model where we quickly iterate through the various stages sounds great.

Hi,

Something I've heard suggested that might improve things is to have distinct windows for different parts of the submission process. E.g. into a submission window, a review window and a feedback/nits window. ??

We could nominate/tag/whatever a head in git as the integration head for the next submission window. Then for X time people can submit stuff based on that head. Then for Y time we all go through and review submissions, figure out what's uncontraversial, what needs minor work, what needs significant work, etc. Optionally we might have a further small feedback/nits window to allow people to address nits and resubmit.

Rinse, lather, repeat.

When Vincent posted that patchwork list and everyone commented on stuff, that felt almost like a review-fest - and it felt good! Maybe we could do that more often... ;)
