Here's the wrap-up from my review day: Key reviews: - (Merged) rootwrap: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11524/ - (reviewed, in progress) shared nets in Nova: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11796/ - (reviewed, in progress) l3 in devstack: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11380/ - (reviewed, in progress) test agent: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11189/
Key Reviews that seem to already have two active core devs, so I'm passing: - (Merged, but no thanks to me) provider nets: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11388/ - (seems stuck on depedency/jenkins issue) trimming cli list output: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12044/ Key Reviews that I am not reviewing because I am the committer: - Nova changes to support security groups with quantum: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12173/ Other reviews I did: - L3 configurable namespaces: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12002/ - dhcp-lease aware IP recycling: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12227/ - mangle dhcp namespace names: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/12228/ I also triaged about 6 bugs, emptying out: https://bugs.launchpad.net/quantum/+bugs?field.status=NEW&field.importance=UNDECIDED A lot of the top priority items for Friday already have two core devs, so if you're reviewing on Friday, I'd focus on picking up and merging new change-sets and reducing the total number of outstanding reviews. Priorities for Friday: - L3 devstack * dev: salvatore * https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11380/ * reviewers: danwent, arosen, rkukura, garyk) - Test Agent * dev: nachi * https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11189/ * reviewers danwent, markmc - Security groups in Nova with Quantum * dev: danwent * reviewers: salvatore (and nova devs) * https://review.openstack.org/12173 We knocked out two bigger patches today, so we're now getting to the point where we should only very rarely have large patches that are > 200 LOC. This means we should frequently be turning around patches in a single day, assuming that the dev responsible is actively engaging with the reviewers. By the start of next week (one week from RC1 date) I think we need to be at the point where on the only changes going in are bugs that are truly high or critical. This likely means that an important feature that applies across all/most plugins is incorrect unless the bug is fixed. This will help us focus most of our energy on testing + documentation.
