Are we talking coilovers as in coilovers or springs over shocks? I've had a GMAX kit on a Quantum before and firm is an understatement. Quantum red springs are on the 2+2, and seem to do the job nicely.
Front suspension squeks etc - are they polybushed? I get this as well on the rear, think it's just something that you'll have to live with.
