john As far as I can recall it was a factory fitted option when I ordered my saloon some 17 years ago - can't remember what it was off but knowing QSC of old I'm sure it was standard ford. Has anybody fitted power steering to a Saloon or 2+2? If so is it possible using Ford "stock" parts or is it a case of using a Vauxhal Corsa or MGF type electric power steering column with a variable control? I'm off to look tomorrow at a Mk 2 Saloon that was factory built in 1997 which the seller assures me has hydraulic power steering.
