A belated Happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year to all. Confusion still reigns, I'm afraid. The distances from the wishbone mounts to the lower hub mounting on both sides is the same (i.e. both OS and NS wishbones give the same lever length) yet the OS has plenty of movement in the drive shaft whereas the NS has none. Also, the strut sits at the correct angle (which I'd expect it not to if the lower mounting position was wrong).
Is Eammon available to give me the benefit of his solution please? For the moment, things are assembled as before but I'm not sure how long the new drive shaft and wheel bearing are going to last with the side load they are getting. If all else fails, I'll get a custom drive shaft made with 20 mm less in the solid shaft. On 28 Nov, 22:40, Mark D-B <[email protected]> wrote: > Sorry Jim, brain fade there!
