Obviously my time replacing the steering gaiters and bodging the driver's side dipped headlight was not wasted. MOT duly delivered after an hour at the test centre with various bits of wood to avoid the ground clearance problems. Had to test the brakes on the road, though, the rollers were too deeply inset to do the test on site. 74% front and 22% on the handbrake; not too shabby.
