I've fitted Mk5 Escort front and rear seats into my saloon but as well 
as the rear seat base rework to clear the filler i also made new hinge 
mounts, new latchs for the rear seat back and lowered the parcel shelf 
to line up with the seat better.
I'm also in the middle of remodeling the rear quarter areas next to the 
rear seat and the rear quarter trim panels so they match the seats better .

The problem with fitting the centre 3 point harness is getting the top 
centre seat belt mounted well enough, i don't think using the parcel 
shelf would be strong enough.
