No objections to a nice jag interior. If you can make a good looking dash then it wood (sic) look nice. However you have to be careful not to end up with a flat piece of ply with random thing screwed to it that clearly looks home made.
Our new cars don't have black dashes, dark greys yes but no blacks. Vw golf and seat Ibiza.
