Mk3 Fiesta, but there are 2 designs used on that (U shaped channel and S
shaped channel) but the instructions for modifying it only relate to one
design (U shaped).
There are also 2 methods of modifying them to fit on the 2+2, the early
version of which leaves the cable rubbing on the steel channel which is
probably why yours has broken.
The later version involves shortening the channel and putting a machined
steel (should be stainless !) spacer in the outer cable to take up the
resulting slack.
I think the details are on the club site.
Mk4/5 Fiesta are different again.
When find the right Mk3 Fiesta ones look carefully at the black plastic
where the cable is clipped into the "slider" section, this often cracks
and breaks away.
This could be the other reason yours has failed.

My 2+2 is fitted with electric windows & today the driver's door one
refused to come back up, so now I have a piece of MDF temporarily
filing the gap between the door & the roof (much to the amusement of
her indoors).
I've checked the switch & the wiring & they're OK so it looks like I'm
on the hunt for a replacement. Shouldn't be surprised really as I've
had to use "manual assistance" (a little push/pull) to raise it for a
while now.
Are the motors/runners usually the one's found on a MK3 Fiesta or
could I use one from a Mk4/5?
