Sorry Phil, I can't really comment - mine are wiggly waggly things. The arches move alarmingly, but have not broken in 10 years.
I guess the boy at Q branch modified the bracket to stop the wobble, but introduced areas where fractures can occur. I think the latest brackets are ok, but I should wait for the owners of some newer chassis to come along.
