My H4 failed its MOT yesterday due to a faulty brake servo. The tester
also noted that the mixture was weak and suggested that this might reduce
the vacuum.

I have noted that the vacuum hose was a loose running fit at the engine
end.

The car had not been used for several months before the MOT.

My Haynes manual gives little information.

Can someone please give me a list of things to check.

If the servo itself is faulty what model should I get to replace it
(Fiesta Escort Mondeo?)

Thanks

Michael
