If the servo is leaking then the mixture will be weak because of the air leaking in through the servo.
Silly tester !

It should be a standard Mk3 Fiesta servo, probably off whatever model the donor car was though i don't think there were many variations.

It could be the one way valve in the pipe between the servo and the inlet manifold not working properly. If thats ok with suck test then run the engine, turn it off and after a min or so pull the pipe out at the servo end, there should be a hiss as the air gets sucked in. The pipe at the engine end is a loose fit, it's a push in fitting and gets sealed by a O ring. To remove it push the ring around the pipe in towards the engine at the same time as pulling the pipe outwards.

My H4 failed its MOT yesterday due to a faulty brake servo. The tester also noted that the mixture was weak and suggested that this might reduce the vacuum. I have noted that the vacuum hose was a loose running fit at the engine end.
The car had not been used for several months before the MOT.
My Haynes manual gives little information.
Can someone please give me a list of things to check.
If the servo itself is faulty what model should I get to replace it (Fiesta Escort Mondeo?)
Thanks
