Hi all, I have to agree with Ken. Following my recent battery woes I thought I'd also give these chaps a go. The only difference is that I bought a battery from their website, rather than from their ebay shop. I debated whether to get the standard or the larger one and was very happy to find that the 073 one fits my 2+2's battery tray perfectly. This one has a cold cranking amps figure of 570 so should cope a little better with the extra load of starting my 2 litre engine. It was still under fifty quid delivered and, as Ken said, is very well packaged and delivered incredibly quickly. I particularly like the way that they made a carrying handle on the outside of the box as I had to take it home on the bus...
Vital statistics: Size (mm) 243 (l), 175 (w), 175 (h) and 16kg. It also came with the correct square terminals - Halfords wanted more than double the money and I'd have had to buy round-post adapters if I'd bought from them. I now plan to try the re-animating-a-dead- battery trick I was given on here with the old one. Time will of course tell as to its reliability but it certainly did the job for a little top-down jaunt over the weekend! Back on the road in time for spring. Yay!
