I'm sure Top Gear did a review of the H4 as well, wasn't this actually
on the TV
They said it was like a Fiesta with a bodykit.

Mr clarkson like him or not i reckon if top gear had a feature on a kitcar
company each week they could almost relaunch the UK small builders car market
as is his power with petrolheads.
One guy complained to me saying that the price of my car was to high saying he
had got one for £600 , i said well done . Im in no rush to sell my car so i
guess im in a strong selling position , but looking around the market i really
don't why kitcars should be going down in value so much even good versions as
it not like are fords vauxhalls etc and they are thousands of the same one
kicking around. All i can think is that it must be down to the people selling
them. Also now theres another quantum owner up here i may keep it and we could
go for 2 car rallies ,3 if we let my brother come along in his silva fury.
Somewhere I have a photocopy of a review from Top Gear magazine where
they reviewed a factory-built 2+2 as a turnkey car from Stourbridge
Quantum. As I recall, Jeremy's also wife drove it (and liked it) and
it was compared favourably with the Mazda MX5 as faster and better
equipped. I seem to recall the only criticism was the cat-pee like
smell of new fibreglass. I suspect this was why there was a perfumey
smell in Q's built after that time... Did they add something to the
mix?
Anyway, we should be making more of these kinds of reviews, quoting
them on the website perhaps, making sure the magazines are aware of
them and so on. As Rob says, Clarkson has quite an influence and a
favourable quote goes a long way to helping with our cars' values.
Although I'm also aware that low values help me to keep my 2+2 - if
its value is pitiful I can keep telling my wife it's not worth my
while to sell it...
