I remember this. It believe it was done by he whose name is not deemed
worthy of mention in this group.
If I am right, it was Tony Cundy's H4 , number plate H4KIT, the first "All
New Kit in a Box" on the road, so it was built using pristine Ford
components throughout but they slated it as it did not do 0-100 in -2 secs,
it had possibly one rattle and the dashboard looked like a Fiesta.
As I was just finishing my H4 at the time, I was not impressed - at all. It
is one of many reasons why I stopped watching that particular programme
around that time as their means of judgement tend to be very artificial with
little link with the reality of what people really want. Watching some
ageing juvenile getting his nuts off driving an exotic bit of machinery at
speeds not possible on our roads whilst making asinine, ill informed and
inaccurate comments is not my idea of entertainment.

I'm sure Top Gear did a review of the H4 as well, wasn't this actually
on the TV
They said it was like a Fiesta with a bodykit.
