The original springs on my Diesel 2+2 gave a very harsh ride, I tried
Fiesta Diesel springs & the car was too low but the ride was better,
but still not I wanted, then swapped the struts & springs from my CVH
engined Saloon, ride was OK but bottomed out on a rough bit of
motorway due to being too low. Have now fitted a pair of s/h Quantum
"Red" springs & the ride is great, has not bottomed out at all after
700 miles in North Wales (on some very rural roads) & the ground
clearance is slightly better than the original springs. So at last I
have the ride & ground clearance that feels just right, Red springs
worth a try if you can find any.
