I eighter go for stainless or I'll yellow Zink them my self

I bought a Zink electroplating set so that I can Zinkplate all the parts that I 
want.  - believe me there are many bolts/nuts/...  on my saloon that benefit 
from this treatment
First de-rust by electrolyse than wirebrush and finaly Zink electroplating and 
Yellow passive - Looks great and is protected fot the next 20+ years
Much bettter than getting it done by a company as I can control the thickness 
of the Zink coat myself ;-)

Going through severeal websites it seems that Goodridge hoses can be rebuild.
Take the connectors apart add a new hose and  2x a new olive (as they call it)
Has anybody tried this?

  If you are going to buy new it's well worth specifying stainless fittings for 
the ends.  I've had problems with the standard ones rusting in the past.

  The Sampsons were good at getting Goodridge parts to order, but I'm not sure 
they deal with Goodridge any more.
