Hi George,
I went for XR2 fronts and standard fiesta rear. This
gives a decent ride height and a relatively comfortable ride. I have driven
the car very hard on B roads with the boot laden with spare oil, water fuel,
a tool kit and some spares including spare wheel and jack with this set up
and coupled with the Toyo R888 tyres, the road holding is superb. I only get
bottoming out when 2 up and fully laden under hard driving, so for normal
use, this set up is pretty good.
I should also mention that I stuck with 14" wheels with 185/60 tyres as
opposed to the more asthetically pleasing 15" wheels and lower profile
tyres. this gives a little bit more comfort although you do need 15" wheels
if you want upgrade the brakes to 4 pots.
hope this helps

Subject: [Quantum Owners] Springs 2+2
Hi can anyone advise what type of springs to fit a 2+2. My son bought
his car a few weeks ago and the ride is very hard and very low and
catches his exhuast on any sleeping policemen or bumps in the road...
